ERIC LAINÉ (FR)

 

Eric Lainé has been President of CGB, Confédération Générale des Planteurs de Betteraves (French Sugar Beet Growers’ Association) since 2007.
 
He is also a member of the Bureau Cristal Union Cooperative Group, a member of the Bureau of FNSEA (French National Farmer Union) and the President of the Economic Commission of FNSEA.
 
Eric Lainé was also appointed Vice-President of CIBE and Chairman of its Finance Committee at the CIBE General Assembly held in Brussels on 11th December 2007. He was elected First Vice-President of CIBE on 22 May 2014 and President of CIBE and CIBE Board of Directors on 15 May 2018.
 
Based in Saint-Memmie (Marne department, France), Eric Lainé is a farmer who cultivates 160 hectares of : sugar beet, cereals, alfalfa and other crops. He is selling his beets for processing to Sillery Sugar Plant, which belongs to Cristal Union Cooperative Group.
 
Eric Lainé is married to Rose-Marie and they have two daughters and one son.
